Flycatcher Trail Outdoor Classroom & Demonstration Garden

The garden is open to the public. It is located at 404 E. F. St., Jenks OK (north of stadium).

Flycatcher Trail Living Classroom and Demonstration Garden is designed to serve as a model of a "backyard bird friendly space" and idea center for members of our community.
We use the space as a demonstration garden to help the community learn about and see transferable backyard bird friendly concepts that they can use in their own backyards. The garden is a model of a wildlife habitat for all types of wildlife by providing food, shelter/cover, water and a place to raise young.
The space is also used by Jenks High School to engage students in outdoor learning experiences, across many different disciplines, including Biology, Environmental Science, Ornithology, Horticulture, Oklahoma History, Art and more!
The garden is designed to engage students in outdoor learning experiences.
Come walk the trail and sit on a rock or log to watch wildlife enjoying this garden!
The majority of plants are native. Jenks High School students are growing and planting more native plants
The Larval Garden features several types of milkweed for the Monarch Butterflies/Pollinators
Flycatcher Trail has been certified as an "Oklahoma Wildscapes Garden", a "National Wildlife Federation Bird Friendly Habits" and
is an official MonarchWatch "Monarch Way Station".

Founding Supporters
We initially developed Flycatcher Trail with a grant from the Audubon/Toyota TogetherGreen program, and with very significant donations of labor and materials from many local companies and contractors.
