Ginny Seibert, 1924-2010

Doctor Rollin Bland presenting to Ginny the first annual "Cy Seibert Award" to honor both of them for service & participation in Grand Lake Audubon Society, June 2006.
Long-time Tulsa Audubon and Grand Lake Audubon member Ginny Seibert passed away on September 24, 2010. Ginny, along with her late husband Cy and daughter Pat, were among the first to befriend us when we first move to Tulsa and joined Tulsa Audubon. I have many fond memories of Ginny.

For many years Ginny was was a leader & co-leader of Tuesday Morning Birders. She was among the first of Tulsa Audubon members who helped establish and participate in the Pelican Festival at Grand Lake. After Tulsa bowed out of it, she also helped Grand Lake Audubon, becoming active in that chapter after retiring to Grand Lake. She loved presenting slide shows and talks for TAS in Tulsa Public Schools. She and Cy were active with monitoring water quality in Grand Lake.
