WING-IT (Wildlife In Need Group – In Tulsa) is a part of the Tulsa Audubon Society dedicated to the
rehabilitation of orphaned, sick, injured or otherwise displaced
wildlife with the ultimate goal of releasing them back into the wild.
The organization allows rehabbers to assist and support each other in
the demanding commitment of rehabilitating wildlife. It also provides a
basis for educating the public regarding assisting wildlife in need and
recruiting additional volunteers to work as licensed rehabilitators.

What if I find an injured bird or animal?
If you find an injured animal, refer to the flowchart below. If you need to speak to someone, a rehabber with WING-IT can be reached at 918-508-9607.
Please do not take the animal directly to a vet, since most vets do not accept wildlife. If after talking with a WING-IT rehabber they determine it needs medical care they will direct you to a vet who is able to accept it at that time.
