Flycatcher Trail Living Classroom and Demonstration Garden is designed to serve as a model of a "backyard bird friendly space" and idea center for members of our community.

WING-IT (Wildlife In Need Group – In Tulsa) is a part of the Tulsa Audubon Society dedicated to the rehabilitation of orphaned, sick, injured or otherwise displaced wildlife with the ultimate goal of releasing them back into the wild.

Since the 1970s TAS has held an annual Eagle Watch along the Arkansas River. We continue that tradition with a wild Bald Eagle Watch early in the morning along the Arkansas River followed by a "Raptor Rally" at Jenks High School

For over 25 years we have held an annual tour of local gardens and yards that have been turned into animal-friendly spaces, along with a plant sale from companies featuring native and wildlife friendly plants.

TAS, in conjunction with several other local organizations, hosts the annual Monarchs on the Mountain, a festival celebrating the vital role Eastern Oklahoma plays in the Monarch Butterfly migration.

Our biggest fund-raiser of the year supporting our WING-IT rehabbers. Not only does this event help us continue to rehabilitate wildlife, it also allows us to showcase local businesses and our incredibly talented local artists. Shop Local ♥ Support Local Art ♥ Help Animals in Need

Oxley is one of our proudest acheivments! In  the early 1970's TAS approached the Park Board and worked with specialists from National Audubon to develop a master plan for Oxley. We then created an independent organization, now called the Friends of Oxley, which continues to this day support the Center.

Young People's Seasonal Bird Walks

Kids of all ages are welcome. Children age 10 and under should be accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them, but we have extras that you can borrow. Events are free. For more information contact Jeff Cox at Jeffacox54@gmail.com or 618-629-2140.

Every Fall TAS conducts a bird seed sale. We take preorders for your bird feeding needs for the winter and place a bulk order. This is one of our major fund raisers of the year. Order forms are available on the web site in mid-September.

Tulsa Audubon Society’s Bird Friendly Business Initiative recognizes businesses that promote and enhance the habitat and well-being of birds through positive actions aimed at sustaining native bird populations and habitats.

Join Tulsa Audubon and the Oklahoma Audubon Council every April for an amazing prairie experience! See and hear the quickly vanishing Lesser Prairie-Chicken displaying on its gobbling grounds on the high plains of northwestern Oklahoma. Festival headquarters is in Woodward, Oklahoma.

Tulsa Audubon is pleased to  scholarships to young birders to attend a summer youth birding camp. There are several such camps in different parts of the country and the scholarship can be applied to any of these.
