2010 Butterfly Counts

All levels of expertise, from beginner to expert, are welcome and encouraged to participate.
Since many of the count sites have minimal facilities be sure to bring plenty of water and a lunch. Bring your field guide, camera, and close-focusing binoculars if you have them. Please wear shoes and long pants so you can comfortably go off-trail through the grass and weeds and dont forget bug & tick spray.
A $3 fee that goes to the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) to help defray the costs of compiling the results will be collected from each participant.
Please plan to arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the start time so we can complete the necessary paperwork and get area assignments before we start.
